This Stinks!
This has been a passion project of mine that after long last is in the process of being made!
Even if you have a dog as a firstborn, absolutely no new parents are prepared for the change when the new human sibling arrives. And no newly minted dog siblings are prepared for ALL. THE. NEW. SMELLS. This sensory book will proactively help parents train their dogs to get used to smells before baby comes using scent infused pages.

Everything about this book’s functionality and design is being intentionally crafted to be ‘dog-first’. For example, the color palette is designed to be in the colors that dogs see in. Disclaimer: Secondarily, we have written a charming story for their human’s enjoyment. It is going to be published in English and Spanish. English version below.

It is primarily a ‘sniffable story’ that was crafted around telling the story via the scent that is infused in certain pages that can be detached to gradually expose the dog to it.
Story for awareness
While the book is designed to be dog centered, we also wanted to make it easy and engaging for parents-to-be to use. So on it’s surface it looks like a baby board book that could easily be stored in a nursery’s book shelf. And a charming cautionary tale from a pup explains why it’s needed. Click through to read!
