My name is Allie Carvajal. Creative Director (art) raised by traditional agencies and roles, but with the tendency to always think strategically, see the larger picture, and ask the WHY beyond the bounds of the brief. While wearing different hats and thinking big picture was not the traditional ad school curriculum when I first started, it has served me well as the way we work and create has evolved.

I am a 14 year ad agency vet (Leo Burnett, Energy BBDO, FCB) with the unique background of spending 5 years in account and then another 9 climbing the creative ladder, giving me a unique strategic/ client perspective in addition to my background in art, design, and concepting. I’ve leveraged these skills to head up a creative team in house that included product design and strategy as well as marketing.

As a Creative Director, storytelling (visual and beyond) are my bread and butter — and for brands, I like to tell create stories with maximum insight and craft. I love to find that special human insight- one that resonates with people’s lives in some way, and hooks them to want to learn more. Then continuing that storytelling in every aspect by creating a brand experience imbued with craft.

Throughout my career, have touched every bit of 360 marketing campaigns: from film, print, signage, social, activations, building out brand guidelines and photo libraries. Along the way, I have collected production experience in many different forms including film/live action, animation, cgi, stop motion, conceptual photography, product photography, food porn specific film/photography, influencer content, and activating experiential ideas.

I am equal opportunity available for concepting, art/design work, brand strat consultation, and content creation/curation.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time running after a toddler and re-learning how to do things like ‘putting on a shirt’, googling things like ‘how to fix a screen door’, attempting to meditate, spoiling our blind cat named Empanada, and taking advantage of the food and culture of the city.
